Richard Brooks
Richard Brooks currently resides in Crescent City, Florida. Born to a military family, Richard traveled the world. As a mechanical engineer Mr. Brookes worked in the U.S., Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Germany and Japan. He speaks French and German. In 2002, he moved to Crescent City. Even though he began painting late in life, his talent is evident. Mr. Brooks has worked on a mural in Crescent City, teaches art at a local nursing home, and is currently studying oil painting with Patrick Rauch at the Larimer Arts Center in Palatka. We are honored to have Richard Brookes as Create!’s artist of the month at the Crescent City Library.
